✈️ Order journey
Each delivery begins its journey at the dispatch center, where it is accepted, registered, assigned a tracking number, and dispatched to the recipient. During transit, it passes through several sorting centers, where the most efficient delivery route is determined. On rare occasions, a shipment may be sent in the wrong direction. If this happens, it will be redirected at the next sorting facility and continue toward its correct destination. Tracking updates are recorded at each stage of the journey as the item moves through transit points. These tracking events are logged in both the sender’s and recipient’s countries, allowing to monitor shipments on the delivery service websites of either country.
🕒 Why does it take so long?
Delivery timeframes for all shipments are determined by the carrier service and depend on the distance between the origin and destination. During peak seasons, such as holidays, delivery times may be extended due to a significant increase in shipment volume. It’s also worth noting that shipments are not sent directly to their final destination. Instead, they pass through multiple sorting facilities, where they are consolidated with other shipments heading in the same direction. This consolidation process may require additional time, and orders can remain at a sorting center or warehouse for several days while awaiting dispatch as part of a scheduled shipment batch.
