Chapman Cigarettes. With Apple and Menthol Hints

Today I’d like to say a few words about one of the Chapman cigarettes, specifically Chapman Green.

It’s been known for some time that several more varieties of these cigarettes, produced by the German company Von Eicken, have been available for sale. So far, I’ve tried Chapman Red, Gold, Brown, and Classic. Next up is the Green. As a reminder, the Red is cherry-flavored, the Gold is vanilla, the Brown is chocolate, and the Classic is just tobacco. The Green cigarettes, in our case, are supposed to have an apple flavor. And although this fruit isn’t specifically mentioned anywhere, reviews do mention an apple aroma. Well, let’s check it out.

The pack is green. It states that the “original blend is made from carefully selected Virginia tobacco varieties.” The scent of green apple does indeed waft from the pack. It’s noticeable, but more chemical than natural, it seemed to me. The cigarettes themselves are cream-colored, with a pale cream filter, almost white. A gold ring separates the filter from the main body of the cigarette. The brand name, Chapman, is also marked on the filter in light green.

The filter, like other Chapman brands, is sweetened. It immediately sticks to your lips, as if coated in syrup. The syrup has a sweet and sour taste.

The first sensation after lighting the cigarette is menthol, not apple. It immediately cools your mouth, astringents, and sourness. I didn’t notice any strength. These are very light cigarettes, unlike, for example, Chapman Brown. I think fans of light menthol cigarettes will enjoy them.
