Cigarettes similar to Chapman but cheaper

Today we’ll look at Gold Mill Aroma Violet cigarettes, which were specifically designed to compete with Chapman Purple. Whether this gimmick worked or not, we’ll find out below. Get comfortable and enjoy!

And so, let’s get started. The design is actually modest, but no less appealing, especially for me as a fan of this kind of minimalism. Fortunately, there’s no unnecessary information, except that it says they’re flavored, and the flavor is listed as Violet, which is essentially grape.

Gold Mill Pack

The writing on the pack is embossed, and in the right corner there’s a house of some sort. I wonder what that means? It could be a logo, or some historical reference directly related to these cigarettes.

I can tell you they’re packed very well, even though the tobacco is moist; the cigarette bends only in small dimples along the entire length. The filter is thick, the cigarette smells distinctly of grapes, and this one is more pleasant than the Chapman.

The filter has a single perforated ring, and it’s thick.

As for the paper, it’s supposedly reconstituted tobacco leaf. While there are definitely tobacco elements, it’s heavily blended with the paper, although the Chapman is exactly the same!

As for the blend, I’m having mixed feelings. Firstly, there’s definitely some tobacco here, but there’s also a lot of vein and sticks. But who would be surprised? This is normal these days, so we haven’t discovered anything new.

Gold Mill Blend

Well, as you know, expecting tobacco flavor in flavored cigarettes is just a desperate attempt to catch up with something that doesn’t exist. As for the flavoring, I really liked it. It really does have a pleasant grape flavor that doesn’t burn your mucous membranes or your brain, and they’ve chosen the right strength of the flavoring.

How are these cigarettes different from the Chapman? They burn a little faster, but they’re cheaper.

Well, their strength is pretty much the same, meaning it’s not very strong. I think you, like me, weren’t expecting much more. You can inhale the smoke, and it doesn’t burn. I was actually surprised. At first, I thought it would be a complete chemical mess, but no, it’s fine.

Let’s draw the line. As flavored cigarettes, they’re very good, with a pleasant taste. They’re a more or less moderate smoke, and those who enjoy flavored cigarettes will love them. So, if you’re currently smoking Chapman flavored cigarettes, you can safely consider GoldMill, but for those who prefer pure tobacco, these cigarettes won’t be suitable. Are they worth the money? They are! Why? Well, what else can compete with the well-known Chapman?
