Glo™ sticks differ from regular cigarettes primarily in the way they produce nicotine and smoke. Here are the main differences.
1. Heating instead of burning
The main difference is the technology. In a regular cigarette, tobacco burns at approximately 800–900°C. In the glo™ system, the tobacco in the stick is heated to approximately 240°C but does not burn. This produces an aerosol (vapor) rather than tobacco smoke.
2. No smoke or ash
Since the tobacco does not burn, there is no ash and no real smoke. The odor is usually less strong and disappears more quickly.
3. Different design
A glo™ stick resembles a short cigarette, but its internal structure is different:
- it contains specially processed, finely chopped tobacco,
- it is designed only for heating within the device,
